installed autometer but doest work someone help!!
so today i wired everything to what was sed..
red - to radio wire.. 12v
white- illumination
green - RPM input
black - to whatever is metal..
tell me if tahts correct?
i couldnt get it to light up or to work .. please help me someone .. 4 wires were cut off since my car is a 4 cylinder

low beams or you can look in the underdash fuse box, look for the gauge cluster light fuse and wrap around one side, stick it back in. It would light up everytime you turn the low beams/interior/gauge cluster lights on. Ghetto but you can always buy a fuse tapper but no need for that

its calibrated just fine if you install it right. mine works fine and is almost dead on with the stock tach and only off at high rpms, and off by like 300. well i dont want to say that its off, the stock one is off, the autometer is more accurate.
yeah, the stock tach is ussually off, especially in the upper rpms. Thats really the only reason to get an aftermarket tach.
Just make sure all your connections are good, ground to teh chassis, but scrape off any paint to make sure you get a good contact. Other than that you should be set.

are the rpms too high or too low? and by how much? i wasnt referring to the main wires, there should be smaller wires in 2 loops. you cut the loops accordingly for 4 clyinder. if you have brown and orange, cut both. if you have brown and blue cut the blue and make sure the brown is connected (if it was cut)
