What power gains can i expect from....
i wanted to know what power gains if any can i expect from a d series vtec. i have a sohc non vtec motor on my EK and was thinkin of dropping in a vtec head from an ex model. is it worth it?

yea it is my friend bob have a d15b7 and he had 88 whp and then he put on a vtec and BAM!! 588 WHP. NOW BECAUSE OF VTAAAK HE CAN SMOKE s/c vettes and k20 turbo hatches.

This has been asked alot...thus the "stupid" responses...Spade did a great thread on SOHC (thats what you have) upgrades and BauleyCivic did an extensive write-up on what you'd all need in order to do a "mini-me" setup.
Just search next time
Btw: You probably have a d16y7...which is good for boost too so some would argue using the money on a VTEC head and just go boost.
