Default 94hatch w/ h22 need some assistance

Heres the deal I have a 22 hatch and the motor was running fine pulled hard when vtec kicked and all then one day it overheated for like a second as soon as I seen then I turned the car off and let it cool down and checked the radiator it was out of fluid so I fill it up start it up after its cool and its normal I drive it and when it hits vtec it feels like vtec isn't engaging but it is and also I check the radiator periodically and its always seeming to run out of antifreeze but the motor isn't leaking anywhere of anyfreeze theres no antifreeze in the oil and also I figured maybe I blown a head gasket or something so i compression tested it and it ran between 235 -240 all the way across all 4 cyl so I figured head gasket is out of the question and its not losing compression anywhere so I was wondering wheres all this antifreeze going and whys vtec kicking so weak any help would be appreciated I just got this car and I am not to aware of what all has been done to it so if you can assist me it would be great

you can still ahve good compresison and a bad head gasket, or a crack somewhere.

my money's on Headgasket. Are you blowing any smoke? If so what color. And also i believe knock sensor could throw you in limp mode.

you might have a crack on the bottom of your radiator, my friend's coupe had the same problem and the radiator was actually cracked on the bottom

the car isn't blowing any smoke nor does the radiator have a crack so whats the best thing to check the headgasket if its bad just pull it and change it or what like i said theres no leaks what so ever on the motor and no sign of antifreeze in the oil

im kinda having the same problem with my H.. i fill my rad with anti-freeze and then when i drive it for a long period of time the heat gauge was going up. So i wired my high power fan to my ignition, so whenever i turn the car on, the fan is on.. so that way it stays cool at stoplights. The only thing is, it still leaks a little anti-freeze.. and i can't see where it's coming from.. the upper and lower hose are on good, i checked.. and i've looked at the bottom on the rad and i dont see any cracks.. bump for some info on this

check the water pump...

if its leaking drive around for a bit.. beat the **** outta the car... come back park it leave it running... look underneath your car for leaks

if its not burning, its leaking.. if it aint leaking its burning.. its that simple..

white smoke means ur burning..

I understand it could be burning but what would low antifreeze deal with vtec not engaging as aggressive at it usually does also the car I have does not smoke what so ever it runs strong at low rpms but once I hit vtec it dogs before it would just pull harder but it doesn't now
