OBX Intake Manifold Install Q?s
hey i just got an obx-r intake manifold (not for performance reasons, mainly because it looked pretty) and i wanted to know what the hell are the four nozzels at the top go to? theres also another one thats closer to the head? what do i connect to them? im doing h23 vtec if that helps at all?
Install it in the trash can.... OBX products are crap!! My buddy had obx cams on his 5th gen and the cams snapped in half after 2,000 miles.. Just search this forum and u'll find all kinds on horror stories on OBX products... Good luck man

Had an equally crappy experince with a POS OBX B-series LSD. OBX doesn't stand behind their products either. Send it back to them.

Yes, put it in the trash! Not only do they make questionable products, but that is a manifold for a turboed engine, not an NA H23VTEC.....

They are most likley just for vaccum sources.

I believe you two are full of ****. The consensus on this site is that their older stuff, particularly their headers, sucked, and that their new LSD's, cams, and intake manifolds were actually excellent as they simply copied tried and true designs from other manufacturers.

i'd say be careful with OBX stuff... yeah the old stuff was ****, and the new stuff is copied off good designs, but there's still stuff on here about their new stuff and that the don't stand behind anything.
the copied designs are just that... they look the same. think about the fake rolexes .. rolexi? lol, but yeah, just cuz they look the same doesn't mean they are made out of the same grade material. and apparently their lifetime guarantee is only for manufacturer defect at their discretion... if it breaks and they can blame it on you (oh, so the cam was installed at the time it broke? that's pry why it broke, not a manufacturers default) you're screwed.
