2.5" exhaust piping to stock muffler?
is it possible to to use a stock muffler on 2.5" exhaust piping? would the stock muffler hurt the performance of my turbo d? i want to stay away from aftermarket exhuast because i do not want to deal with cops and i want a quiet ride. thanks!
always but better to go with aftermarket. or buy borla or something like that, they arent that loud and not a HUMONGOUS "5" inch tip like others. other than that your down pipe should connect right to your stock flanges.

that's a bottleneck with the stock muffler. what i had was 2.5 piping/no cat/dynomax muffler. it was crazy loud. i was so paranoid driving around town. i went to a muffler shop and got a 2.5/ inlet-outlet turbo muffler/chambered-offset design. it sounds so quiet, and looks so stock (oval shape) without constricting to smaller piping. gotta love that
