Default boost reliability help

i was wondering if building a D-series motor for boost would even be worth it, i like the fact that most boosted cars i know of dont idle to bad like some NA, but i dont know whether to go with a B-series and boost it or just stick with building a D-series for a turbo, would either be reliable?

If you build it rite, it will be reliable as long as you get it tuned and such. I personally like the feel of the GSR turbo, but a D-series turbo still has some decent power.

i found a B16 I might end up getting depending on how much money i can make this summer, i was thinking thats the way to go, but if i do that i probably wouldnt end up building it for boost, would runnning it on a stock bottom end hold up well?

i would go with the d series, parts are a hella of a lot easier to come buy and they are much cheaper....still plenty of fun and dollar for dollar you could own a b series
