Default Oil

Two thousand miles after i change my oil i can start to smell gas when i check my oil,(ill usually smell the dip stick) its not a lot but im afraid that it is not a good sign...any info about it would be appreciated

We really need more information. Your car is running rich. It can be from a igniton that need maintenance ie plugs,wires, cap and rotor. If all the ignition is in good shape check out the running of each cylinder. Just unplug each wire using insulated pliers. If your engine does not change at all when you disconnect a cylinder it is not fireing. There could be a bad valve etc. You may also just need to clean the injection system. Lots of products to do this. Run several tanks of Techron avaliable at Walmart. This cleans the intake track, valves and piston tops. My guess is you have a cylinder not fireing from the amount of fuel you discribe. It could just need a new spark plug.
