Default SOHC Turbo Dyno

Well today i went to my buddys shop and did some tunning
a quick run thru:
90 Civic STD
D16Z6 with forged internals
14B turbo @ stock 9-10psi
PS9 ECU with TurboEdit
NG55 2.5 Bar bin
2.5 Bar Motorola MAP sensor
450cc DSM injectors
shitload other goodies

my expectations where fullfilled
i am happy camper (for now)
as many know.... i previously got a baseline from my setup @ 10psi

and the results after a hr and a half of tunning

and heres the final baseline alone

I must say that TurboEdit worked great today, ROMulator worked great on saved a shitload time.
The only problem i encounter was if u change the fuel multipliers, it crashed the rom and the ecu trows a solid cell.. thats when u have to close the RTP and reload the bin to the emulator again
other than that, great time updating in real time, no hickups, or sputters... i found out the ecu didnt like fuel multipliers of 5.... kept cutting out on me

Anyways. big thanks to jason parker for all the hardwork he has put into the program, keep the good job, and i will always be available for testing, and or helping any developing. Thanks to dave for answering all the stupid questions i have had.

nice numbers...funny thing is i have almost the same setup but on a y8...i had a built head for it too but sold it cause i needed more money to put into turbo parts...i will be running uberdata though and maybe alittle higher boost...but i like the numbers u put out..so hopefully i put out about the same numbers...i will be happy to hit 200 WHP...

So you got 50 hp from just tuning or did you raise the boost and tune some more?

no more boost

just the stock wastegate setting
it did spiked 1 psi more every now and then, but still i love the #'s for being 10-11 psi

Awesome numbers considering the turbo came off of a DSM and makes more power. Tuning kicks ***.

its the same tuner

the previous baseline was on a VAFC hack running under 10 AFR's on a HF manifold and adapter plate

the new tune is on TurboEdit with my own homemade manifold and tuned to 12 AFR;s

traction is a problem on 1st and 2nd
i get grip on 3rd and up

heres the previous setup and the new one

I know his first coupe of runs it was blowing alot of smoke, so i'm pretty sure it was rich throughout most of the RPM range. After a couple runs, I think he got everything straightened out.

I had a black dodge avenger with blue stripes and some stuff. Now i have a yellow 02 monte carlo and an 89 crx. The crx is blue and had a b17 in it. Now it is getting an ls and probably some juice to start out with while i build a turbo monster.

PS. Here is a video of one of Felix's pulls! Click here to watch The Video!
