Nope, that's why it's cheap
The more expensive AEM units have a controller that in built into a gauge. The cheaper AEM units have a controller that is housed in an extruded aluminum housing (about the size of a hondata box but thinner).

I have the PLX M300 and it works great. I would probably buy a zeitronix though if I had to buy one again, mainly for the datalogging options. My buddy has one and it works great.

What EMS does he use. Zeitronix ONLY datalogs RPM, MAP, EGT, (if you have boost and egt sensor), A/F, TPS. It is cool. Its not bad. I like it.
Zeitronix unit doesn't work with lambda logs in the free ems' out there. I'll trade you your PLX for my Zeitronix. ITs pimping, i broke the harness so its a brand new one. I have the whole shabang, if you throw in a couple of bucs for me to get a boost/egt gague i'll include the whole thing. LCD screen and all.

Marty at injected performance has a great price on the AEM with gauge. Waaaay under $400. I have the AEM in my car and an LM-1 for tuning.
