Why is it that some turbo kits out there don't require ECU changes?

Default Why is it that some turbo kits out there don't require ECU changes?

like some kits that provide everything but usually is set to only boost at 7 psi come with everything and they don' even recommend or tellyou you have to change your ECU or update it etc..?

Probably cause the kits have FMU or AIC setups both of which dont require you to do anything withyour stock ECU.

thats because most kits give you an fmu and a missing link, which is a shitty solution to engine management.

most people prefer to use an engine management system they like, such as aem, apexi, uberdata, hondata etc.
