Default boost/ ecu qestion?

Ok; I hav a GSR turbo with a stock P72 ecu. I want to get a Hondata by the end of next week because I dont want the FMU anymore.
The question that I have is: When I send my ecu out to get chipped for hondata. Can I use another ecu that has a modified chip but; just pull off the charge piping and add a filter to the throttle body tell I get the hondata. So the engine will still build boost but just blow it out the intercooler.

All comments are welcome.

where in ga are you.

i am in savannah and can socket the ecu for hondata in a day and give you a hondata chip that will run boost or i can street tune the car on a wideband if you want.

If you run your car with the turbo attached but no charge pipe you'll just overspin and damage the turbo since it has no way for the boost-operated wastegate to open and divert flow past the turbo.

My $0.02, remove the wastegate.
