Default T3/67 vs t3/67 H.O.

I currently have the SC61 turbo on a 2.0 mazda engine, I get full 27psi about 5000rpm.
I am trying to decide between the t3/67 and the t3/67 H.O. Now I was told that the t3/67 would increase my lag by 500rpm not bad right. Well I was also told that the t3/67 H.O. would spool quicker than the t3/67 If this is so I will go ahead and get the H.O. version. All in all this would mean that the t3/67 H.O. would spool close to what the SC61 does already just with alot more power. Any help would be appreciated.

You must be shooting for FallGuys best time with his FE3, huh Andy?

I would go with the HO. That FE3 has a lot of potential and you guys haven't even started with any real headwork.

The spool difference between an SC61 and a .63 A/R T3/T67 is negligable, there really isn't much there. The T3/T67 HO car I drove was a lagmaster. While my T3/T67 (Stage 5 Wheel, .63 A/R Exhaust) is coming on right around 5000, the HO was coming on at about 6000. Felt just like driving a PT67 car.

How much power do you want to make is a good question. An SC61 is 625, probably 650 WHP capable. I have no doubts a T3/T67 Stage 5 could make 700 WHP.

No Im not trying to beat Matts times, as I dont have the probe anymore the FE3 is in a 90 miata now. About the t3/67 and t3/67 H.O. I got the info from Todd at Full-Race about the spool-up characteristics. If the H.O. would spool up somewhat close to the stg.5 wheel then I would get the H.O. I am only trying to make 550whp or better it was just hard to do with the SC61 because I had a stock head and I doesnt flow all that well. Now I have a ported head and it should wake up the motor alot.
