HOW DO YOU RESET ECU ?
I HAD PROBLEM WITH engine lights before. now , i fix everything but this light won't go away.. i've tried to take out battery plug.. and it worked for like couple of dayz, then engine lights came on again... is there any way i can make it disappear ???.. i know for sure i have no problem on my car...and i don't wanna spend money just to erase the light thing... so please help~~
If you disconnect the positive wire of your battery your ECU will be reset.
Or you can open your fuse box, and disconnect the yellow plug, or the if you have a big fuse standing alone, disconnect that for like a minute and plug it back in.
hope it helps

Translation:
1. your car is not running
2. disconnect your battery for 30 seconds
3. reconnect your battery
4. start your car and let it idle in nuetral (no revving) for 5-10 minutes.
5. put in your radio anti-theft code
then you are good to go...

after resetting ur ecu..if it goes on again, uve got something wrong..start with O2 sensor s
heres how to check the code if you dont already know
To check the code, Take off the passenger side kick panel and look above your ECU (the metal box). find the green rubber housing
with a blue connector (looks like the end of a telephone cord). Get a piece of wire like a paperclip, and
bridge both connections. Now turn your key just before you have to start the car, watch your CEL and get the code.
If the CEL blinks fast, that stands for 1, 2, 3, etc. If it is a long blink, that stands for 10, 20, etc. The code
will recycle, just in case you don't get it the first time. also, there could be multiple codes.
