Default auto to manual ... iacv???

only problem with the conversion now is the idle surging. i had a 1998 civic hx and converting it to manual. i believe i must do the 3-2 wire conversion for the iacv. ive searched and searched and my head hurts. just double checking my solution now. so i have to change my intake manifold to a manual one ... does that mean i have to change my tb also since the iacv used to be there or can i just leave it like it is and plug my wires into the manual manifold? what intake manifold should i get?

ok first off what ecu are u still using auto or manual ? if auto with auto wire harness on a manual transmission dont change anything, if manual ecu u need to re pin ur ecu plugs, if thats not possible then yes u need a another tb because the iac for auto is underneath, and a manual intake manifold

there was a long thread about this. to sum it up, you need a manual intake manifold if you are converting on a sohc vtec. if not, then you can re-use the one you have. let me find the link.
