I just did a auto to manual swap and also swapped my intake manifold for a manual one. But i am having trouble with iavc, the one on the manual im has 2 prongs , while the one on the auto has 3 prongs. Does anyone know how to fix this?

this is on a 96 civic with a d16y8

 

are u using the auto ecu or the 5spd? if the 5spd changet the 3 wire iacv plug to the 2 wire (just dont use the orange wire). If you are still using your auto ecu then I would suggest using your old tbody so that the iacv can be plugged in so that your car will idle.

 

im using the 5speed ecu, so i would have to cut off the auto 3 prong plug and attach the manual 2 prong one without the orange wire?
