Default auto to manual

okay so i have searched and searched and i have been told that when doing this swap ona 99-00 civic ex you need to swap out the intake manifold to a manual one because they are different so whats different and is this even true or can you use the manual one?

check out this article (and it's stickied in this forum)....

ECU Code Thread, Pinout, ETC.

it would probably be a good idea to use a manual ECU as well as a manual intake manifold. the fuel maps are going to differ between an auto and manual. I know this has been covered one gazillion times already, but scroll down (a little past half way) to the "99-01 Civic/Integra ECU Pinout" Picture and mimic what's been done there. It works.
