ive finally got all the peices for my turbo kit. Except for the fuel management. I bought some peices from a guy and got a t3/t4 turbo with it. Is that too big for a d16y8. Also i was wondering if i just want to run 7psi consistantly till i get better fuel management can i just swap injectors?

1- t3/t4 too big for a d16y8?

2- Want to run 7psi consistently daily driven for now. What injectors/fuel management on a very tight budget?

 

i run a t3/t4 hybrid in my d16z6. there are pros and cons to this the pros are i have mad top end but no low end. the turbo wont spool till about 4600k to 5200k but the way i look at it is low end = wheel spin . i think its good b/c i stay out of boost when im just driving around but when i need it it's there and we all know boost kills motors. as for fuel managment if you on a buget get a 12:1 fmu with a walbro 255lph fule pump so you wont need new injectors BUT DON'T BOOST MORE THEN 7 PSI !!!!! there are some factors on the spool time like if you have a tubular mani or ported head and the a/r size of the turbo im guessing that you have a .42/.48 t3/t4. hope this helps

what's the trim and exhaust a/r on that t3/t4 u got?
