If you're running a 12:1 you need a VERY high-pressure capable fuel pump (bosch inline ideally). With that you should be OK up to 8-9 psi but FMUs are touchy beasts and I personally wouldn't do more than 6-7 psi on any FMU setup.

i fogot to mention i have a walbro 255lph intank fuel pump. If this helps any. It is a t3, not a t3/t4, so why can't i boost it highr than if I had a t3/t4 that flows more?

Your going to be running this on a H22?
HELL NO.
That turbo is even too small for a D16 (IMO), let alone a huge H22!!
Even though the turbo is classified as a "T3"....it is smaller then a mitsubishi T-25.

Re: How can I boost with my T3 nissan 300zx turbo safely?? (Bryson)
It is currently on a b16 in a 93 civic ex coupe!!
The ****** pulls @ 6 lbs and even better @ 9lbs. I have already beaten my friends turbo integra gs-r @ 8 lbs of boost with a t04e on it. His ar has some problems because he can only pull 14.3 sec tineslips with street tires but i beat him by 3-4 cars four times in a row till the end of 3rd gear.
Also the turbo is not that small, have u ever seen a nissan 300zx t3 turbo. It is not the one from the twin turbo model it is the one from the single older turbo model that would pull that heavy as ****** to 15.4 quater mile runs stock!!!! Don't give advice or comment if u don't know what u are talking about!!!!!!!!

Take a look at your first post.
Ahhhhh there you go.
Thats right. YOU DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE TURBO OR ENGINE.

^^ anyone else with more knowledge. I also have venom 310cc injectors that I have not put in yet. They make the car run way to rich with the 12:1 ratio fmu, what diaphram should I use with the injectors and how much boost can I run with them and without them????

the 300zxt VG30EDT and VG30DETT have two distictly different turbos, the single turbo is straight Garrett T3 with .48A/R and i believe 60 trim wheel, where the twin turbo had TB22 with a T2 wheel. the T3 is much more effecient than the smaller T2.
edit
you shouldn't worry about fueling really with this turbo, it is the temperatures and how much boost you are going to put through it. it'll run out of breath really fast on that H22. going to heat up your intake really good. get a bigger turbo, IMO.

Re: How can I boost with my T3 nissan 300zx turbo safely?? (TurboB16Coupe)
a straight T3 came on 280zx(T)'s and Z31's or 300zx(T)'s. the zx(T)'s had some of the most basic turbo systems available. with a single T3 and a stock boost of 4-5psi. there was no intercooler or compressor bypass valve, and the wastegate is internal. they were designed as low boost systems. the max boost i would run on one of those turbos is 14-15psi.

Maybe you should be using a Cartech instead of Vortech. The Cartech will allow you to set the base fuel pressure and you can probably lean things enough to run the 310 injectors, which also means you won't need to run super high fuel pressure like you do with the 12:1 ... at 9 PSI (you are asking way too much of your stock injectors. That comes out to like 119 lbs of fuel pressure assuming your stock FPR is a 1:1. Either way you're over 100 lbs which is not good.
Also, if you're running that high of pressure make sure you have the Walbro HIGH PRESSURE pump. The flow rating doesn't matter if it can't keep the line to your motor pressurized.

Put the 310cc injectors in (the car will run,and idle fine) and drop the fmu down to a 6:1.
Last summer i ran my 310's with a 8:1 set at 8psi with no problem.......You just have to listen for any signs of detonation, check your plugs often, and if at all possible get your car on a dyno to check the air/fuel ratio out...
