Default D series AC compressor on B series engine?

Can i keep the factory EG d series AC system and bolt up the compressor and reuse the belt if i install a b16 and use a del sol AC breacket? And does a del sol AC bracket bolt up to a JDM b16a2?

Yes and yes (as long as it is a DOHC VTEC del sol AC bracket).

P54 from the 96-97 DelSol vtec is the right one. The P30 does not accept a Civic D series compressor.

And some people have used the CRV bracket, but I don't know the number of hand.

Not really, yes you can use the Delsol bracket, just has to be the right one.

How do I know the P30 won't work you ask?... http://www.hondaswap.com/forum...4&hl=

The crv bracket will work unless you swap a b16 motor in. If you swap a B16 in the crv bracket will not allow you to mount the ps bracket since the b16 head is not as tall as the b18. With a B18 you will have no problems with the crv bracket and keeping your ac.

The crv bracket's part # is 38930-P7J-000 and it costs about half of what a delsol vtec bracket.

Yeah, with a Del Sol Vtec AC bracket you can retain your stock AC compressor. Not sure on teh PS pump, but I DO have a Civic Type R PS pump that I can sell you for 25 bux plus shipping if you want to try that. I don't really see the point of having PS in a car as light as a civic.
