b series A/C swap on civic
i have heard by using the del sol ac bracket, i can still keep using the whole d series ac set up for the b series swap in a eg civic.
the question is, which ac belt do i use? the b series or d series?

i'm pretty sure you can use the d seeries belt, i'm using the b sreies bracket and only have two bolts going into the d series a/c compressior and every thing lines up and seems to be holding up well. and bels still in good shape

I need to know this also...so only a del sol ac bracket will work?

The CRV bracket (P7J) works, and cheaper i believe. You use the DOHC Del Sol belt. Its like right in the middle of the 2.

A/c is for those who like to drive comfortably and not get to work with a sweaty back.
You'll need the del sol ac bracket, and the B-series a/c components. D-series fan will work.
But I guess the d-series a/c compression/belt will work according to the above guy.

if u have the complete system and have to charge it anyways use all the d series stuff and use the b series a/c compressior it should be able to work together, the way the comprsior mounts is alittle bit different between the two

Re: b series A/C swap on civic (tom98civicsi)
so its either...
1) Use the d-series compressor with a Del Sol AC bracket, or
2) Use a b-series compressor with any b-series bracket?
...i dont want to have to buy another compressor as I already have the d-series compressor..
...sorry for hi-jacking this thread

If your going to use a B series compressor i believe youll need to change the lines for B series. Easiest thing to do is get either the Del Sol or CRV bracket and reuse your D compressor.
If you use a B series compressor your going to need an integra AC bracket.

Del Sol: 38930-P30-000
CRV: 38930-P7J-000
Thats the parts numbers you need, go to honda pick up one of those 2 and your set.
