changing the exhaust housing on a garrett t-3 42/.48 a/r
if i were to change the exhaust housing to a .63 a/r, would i be able to reach the red line with out losing boost at a lower rpm? also when i change it out do i have to change the blade also? thanx in advance
you wont loose boost...
you should be fine depending on how much you're boosting. It shouild hold 8 psi to 7500 rpm.
If you're willing to swap housings, get a bigger intake side....it will be much more effective and you won't add much lag compared to the exhuast side.
