Doesnt Autopower make one for the sol? I know the Autopower is NHRA compliant til 10.50's in IDRA

EDIT: Just called 'em and I quote " No, we do not make one for the Del Sol and we don't know of anybody that does." Sounded like they've gotten this call quite a bit.

 

I am not asking a direct question, I wanted to create a refrence for others...thanks for the classic dumb **** "use the search button" remark. Autopower doesn't make one for the sol.

So is that legit in any form of racing? It looks nice...custom? I have a sparco speed seat and it is a fixed back so I need something to sit close enough to the ceiling.

I don't know, you'd have to have it checked out..

and no its not custom, made for an EG2 CRX Del Sol in japan.

Made to fit stock seats though... I'm pretty sure...

I was told it was FIA approved... not sure that helps.

FIA approved is not legal in the us for any santionced roading series. which excludes most of the cusco and saftey 21 crap. A custome roll cage for a del sol will probaly cost some where around 1200 depending on who and how much you want done to it. To be leagal for most us road racing series, the cage down tubes will have to go into the trunk some how, usually through the back window, however I have seen one cage in a del sol that passed tech that had the tubes routed into trunk without going trough the back window.

that's the cusco bar, correct? no, it's not legal for any type of racing. the tubing is too small.

i think the person that passed without having to go through the rear window is adictionbass.

 

if you're serious about it, you'd be better off with a custom cage.
