B16?
Hey I'm kind of new to hondas and this might be stupid but whats the (b) stand for in b16 and whats the (16) stand for. Same with the Prelude engine. (h) and (22). Whats the number and whats the letter? Thanks.

The letters are the motor series, the numbers are displacement figures. For example a B16A is a 1.6l Bseries motor. The H22A is a 2.2L Hseries motor, but the H23 is 2.3l.. Etc etc etc.

Kewl man, what color? I have a 93 EJ (Coupe) her name is Desiree, I just threw a rod in my pretty JDM B16A a couple weeks ago. Then I bought this 91 DA Integra the next day and blew the trans in that the day after. LMAO. If there is something that's gonna break on a car, believe me, I'll break it. Seriously post your opinion HERE
The motor codes such as b16a, means that it's a 1.6 litre engine and it's a DOHC. The 'b' is just the series and the numbers are the litres. Just throw a decimal in between them and WHAM, instant engine size!
