Ok this is a completely pointless post in the wrong forum blah blah blah. But I want to do this in a civic so there it is the right forum.

So here's the plan,

I'm gonna take 2 complete B16A heads, have a custom 8cyl block forged and a bunch of other custom **** like crank, rods etc. So I wanna drop this BB-series motor in my EG. Anyone got some ideas to go along with this. Just imagine popping the hood of a civic only to see two angled b16 heads. I think that **** will be crazy, I'll post a pic when I get it done. Stay tuned.. For like 10 ****** years. Hopefully this post wont bring me down from 100% that would suck. Sorry to waste anyones time, I just think crazy thoughts sometimes, and if I keep them in my head it would explode. Oh yeah I want it to bolt to an F-series 6spd trans as well. Anyone got an S2000 they wouldn't mind pulling the trans and giving me a tracing of the mounting points and shape?>

I just think it would ****** kick *** to tell someone all I got is a simple B series and pop the hood to reveal a cutom 8cyl in a civic. Now I know suspension would have to be greatly modified to handle the weight and RWD. But I can do it. Ever see a civic get the *** end loose? I haven't.

Another idea I have is take 2 NSX drivetrains and try to integrate both of them. One to power the fron wheel, the other to power the rear. The problem comes in when I need to figure out how to shift it... Any ideas here? C'mon guys, lets get the ****** creative juics flowin. I'm sick of helping people figure out what code their ECU is throwin. Lets use some brain power people...

Exactly how do you plan on R&D'ing this "custom" V8 of yours? How do you plan on paying for the custom crap you are going to need? I think you're imagination is writing checks that your pocket can't cash (unless you have some rich parents or were left a huge inheritance). Good luck I guess. I'll personally believe this "B8" when I see it.

What I do have is vision, drive, entreupenuerism, knowledge, technical and mechanical skills. **** not to sound cocky (I'm only confident) but the list goes on. I started programming computers when I was 11. Named my company at 12 and have been moving that direction at a more feverish pace now than ever before. My cars will be all computerized. I mold composites. I have worked for a while in the machining industry. I know AutoCad. I can read a micrometer, I can put together technical drawings. I can build ****. I am an engineer, yeah maybe my mind and ideas are all fucked. But I will at least do something to see if it will work before deciding it's impossible because it just seems like too much work or it will cos me too much of that precious green paper with dead presidents on it.

**** once I build a name for myself in the auto industry I plan to contact Honda for 10-12 cylinder motors and I want to build cars by hand. Cars that will compete with those 1/4 million dollar plus cars. That's where I'm at. So when I get this BB8 working you want one?

Ummm, my vision has nothing to do with HT, don't get me wrong I love you guys... I also love the 4 banger power. They used to and still say "There is no replacement for displacement." Now there is another rule in the book, "There is no replacement for technology." I'm one to always want more. That is the only reason I want to build a HONDA v8. It would be the ****. It would be so nice to stomp the **** out of a blown Chevelle in a civic. It would be ****** insane to pop the hood and see 2 b-series valve cover pointing at you.

</TD></TR></TABLE>LMAO, yeah the head will most likely be refined as well. I will keep the B or K series valve cover idea though. The reason is so Adj Cam gears and other parts for the B series valvetrain will be usable.

i'm not trying to bring you down i just think there could be a more productive use of time. Nobody puts a v-8 into a civic because a worked b series will work just as good. It would be cool to look at but thats about it. A civic was never ment to be RWD so the chassis is gonna fight you the entire way through the build.
