quick question about PG7 ECU
hey,
im looking to pick up a PG7 ecu for my dohc zc swap, I waned to make sure that the ECU I am getting is going to be the right onw. ive tried searching so please dont flame me but I came up with the following.
37820-PG7-A0## is for manual transmission
37820-PG7-A1## is for automatic transmission
now, the seller I am buying the ecu from says the code is:
37820-PG7-L030 then underneath that reads 684-109450 8Y
so would somebody be able to give me some info? or the okay that this ecu will be alright for my swap
thanks a lot

I already have a pm6 and am running the zc with it. although i have heard that the pg7 ecu has a more agressive fuel map in in, therefore it will make more power. there must be a reason that so many people are using a pg7 ecu over the pm6.. also, most places ive read recommend:
pm6
pg7(better)
pm7(best, although hard to find)

You can always chip one to have any maps you want. You can put the PM7 maps in the PM6, or get the PM6 tuned to make the most power, not just guessing like putting other maps in would be.
alright, well ive decided that im going to get the pg7 computer for now, and then eventually, either run turboedit on my pm6, or maybe even a hondata, we'll have to see, but ive gotta save up some more money before i start doing that.
so can anybody confirm that this ecu will work for me just by looking at the serial number? thanks a lot

pg7 isnt that rich, a lot of people like it a lot better than the pm7. put it this way, the ZC has more agressive cams, and more HP in stock form over the a1. i dont see how more fuel on a better motor from the factory could be bad
