Default radiator fan: pusher or puller?

which configuration is best for cooling? i recently replaced my stock fan with a slim fan and its a pusher. i assume that's how the stock fan is too b/c i soldered the blue and black wires to their respective colors. anyway, id think a puller would be more effective since it doesnt have to push against the incoming air. in order to change it, i just resolder the wires to the opposite colors, right?

you need a puller if you mount it in the stock location.if you mount it on the front of the rad(between the rad and bumper),you need it in pusher configuration.i just hook the wires up to the battery to quickly tell which orientation makes it blow which way.
on both my cars i have slim fans mounted in front of the rad.i don't know which is more effective, but i do know that the setup i have works better than the stock fan,so i'm satisfied.
