i got GSR knuckles with redrilled prelude rotors and accord wagon calipers, PBR semi metallic pads its a 92 si. i upgraded the MC to a 91 civic EX with is 15/16
anyways. my friends car has ITR brakes all around and locks the brakes up like nothing. my car however i just installed it BTW*
when braking. it grabs but i cant get it to lock up for ****. i can stand on top of the brakes. not gonna happen. any ideas ? im sure i could stand on top of the civic brakes and make them lock up.
i bled the brakes once. mebbe ill need to bleed them again ?

Bleed one more time to make sure, and if it doesnt work...go underneath the dash (need to remove driver's seat) and adjust booster from there.

Also, your brake pads suck. And your tires might be different than either your old ones or his. What's this brake booster adjustment thingy?

We probably can't adjust ours for some odd reason.
If we can though, point me in the right direction.

when changing a brake booster, or simply looking up under your dashboard where a cable ties into the brake booster "wing nut thingy" and then goes to your brake pedal i think...it's been awhile since i have changed a booster, anyway, you can see a goldish adjustment screw type wing thing that can turn two ways...when i did my 4x100 itr front setup on the race car...i had to play with different adjustments on it for a few times before i got it just right...trial and error...it sucks...but what else is there to do?

there is no need to remove driver seat for this...i don't see why...simply slide it back as far as the seat will go...then go under the dash...

to be honest im not exactly sure...it might be one of those or both of those because when i adjusted it too much the brakes were dragging...then a few turns back the other way and they were perfect and felt perfect.

It adjusts the clearance between the nipple in the booster and the piston connected to the brake pedal assembly.
Too much and the brakes drag, too little and there is noticable lag (amount of movement) between when the pedal is depressed and when the car actually starts braking.

i seriously doubt its the master cylinder..rarely do those need adjusting.
make sure you are bleading the brakes in the correct sequence. sounds to me like you have an airbubble for sure..

its not adjusting the master cylinder...its adjusting the booster...and when upgrading to a much bigger brake setup on the front...the booster could need adjustment like mine did to compensate for the bigger brakes up front.
