Default Is this the compensator arm?

I am in the middle of removing all the suspension (just finished that tonight) and I am removing all stock bushings and replacing them with Poly bushings.

I bought the ES Hyper flex kit, and the ES rear trailing arm bushing set.

The picture below, is this the compensator arm? I totally forgot to order these bushigns as well, I think only Prothane has these too, hard to get locally.

the other option is to just buy the new arms but then those bushings will be rubber...

Please let me know if it's the compensator and I'll order the bushings online after.

It's bolted to the rear trailing arm.

THANKS!!

Yeah, you don't get bushings for the rear upper or compensator. Thats the compensator. I have been in the discussion about these bushings with quite a few knowledgable people on this board.

They are not absolutely pertinent to replace, and you def. dont NEED prothane. Stock ones will do you just fine, you probably won't notice a ton of difference replacing them on the street however.

I will since my rubber is all torn and not connected to anything anymore... :s

So I'm ok getting new stock ones you think? I know it's not as critical as all the LCA's etc.

Yeah, get whichever is cheaper. Stock or prothane and don't worry about it.

Hows the install going, fun isn't it?

If it wouldn't be for the seized bolts...it would be ok!

I'm doing alright removing the bushings without a press, a good blade in the hacksaw and a nice sharp chissel helps.

it's tough because being from Canada, and my car being 15 years old, with all our salt we put on the roads, some of these bolts..woof.

other then that, I'm done removing all the bushings on the front suspension, took the rear off tonight and will remove the bushings tomorrow.

I'm just happy i'm doing this, ALL the bushings are SHOT on this car.

That looks nasty man. Better replace the bushing (or whatever that is ) At this point even oem replacement product will improve your ride. The purpose, if im not mistaken, of this piece is to reduce side-to-side roll. Anyway, I would replace it asap if you have a chance.
