Axle tramp
What I want to know is ...
On a damp road, is it normal to get wheel hop after switching over to VTEC? I was expecting perhaps maybe some wheel spin and loss of traction but all I get is *thump-thump-thump* of wheel hop.
Tried varying the tire pressure to no avail. Just seems like my car is far more prone to wheel hop instead of losing traction and I'm wondering if that is normal.

Sticky tires tend to cause wheel hop while crappy tires lose traction instead.
Wouldn't it be easier to call it wheel hop?
Some solid (or just harder than stock if you're a wuss who can't handle the added vibrations from solid mounts
)motor mounts would help with your wheel hop issues.
