Calling all tune up experts!
Update: I went to do my tuneup and encountered a major problem. The bolt that large bolt on the side of the block that holds on the wheel that spin the belts(i think its called to balance shaft bolt). well its the one you use to turn the belt when your calibrating the valves or turning the timing belt. anyways it seems that it was overtightened and it cant be taken out without snapping the bolt. anyone ever had this problem before?
Aside from this everything was sucessful and the car is in better shape than i thought. the engine is still golden bronze on the inside and has NO buildup. Heres what ended up doing.
PS: belt didnt even have to be changed anyways...it still said honda on it
List:
Fuel Injector treatment
Valve and Lifter Adjustment
Tranny fluid changed
Engine oil changed
Oil cooler o ring
PCV Valve
Fixed wheel bolts
I would have changed more stuff but it wasnt necessary. everything in that engine was practically new. Whoever had that car before me took really good care of it.
Just need to clean IACV to fix my idle and its ready for modification

I'm assuming, since you're having the timing belt done you are getting the balancing shaft belt too. Everything looks about there and yea plugs and wires would be great too.
Don't forget the blinker fluid and piston return springs

List:
Timing Belt
Distributor Cap
Water Pump
Camshaft seal
Valve and Lifter Adjustment
Tranny fluid changed
Engine oil changed
Oil cooler o ring
PCV Valve
Fuel Filter
I know i got most of the stuff, but is there anything else someone thinks that i should do while i am doing all this stuff, im trying to think if im missing anything but i cant think of anything. Even something that isnt completely necessary post it up so i can take it under consideration before going under surgery tommorow

is the balancer shaft belt and seal a big job? or is it simpler than doing a timing belt or changing out a pump. sorry to ask a n00b question but what are piston return springs? where are they located. is this really necessary?

As far as the piston return springs, he's joking around. What you really want are new apex seals

I'd run some Sea Foam through too, or some sort of engine cleaner. How long has it been since a coolant flush? (every 30K)

my friend told me to get some blinker fluid, but when i called up a local honda dealership to ask them the price on them, they told me 9.99 a bottle and they were out. i dont feel like paying 9.99 a bottle. ill just put a crack in my headlights and tail lights and pour some water in there.

I'm kidding around. Apex seals are for rotory engines.

Convert to non-sequential so you don't have that dip in power at ~4500rpm.

</TD></TR></TABLE> this is not a problem whatsoever. this happens when the crank pulley bolt (thats wat it is) has rarely, or even never been removed. the only way is to get a special tool with a lock chain, and a 1/2 inch breaker bar and LEEEAAAANNNN
