HOW CAN YOU TELL THE YEAR OF A MOTOR?
Isn't it true that you can tell the year of a dual cam honda motor, by looking at the top of the block, and the number is right there, upsidedown, like right above the exhaust manifold? If i'm wrong......how do you tell the exact year of a motor? It was written in Sport Compact Car years ago.....and i have completely forgotten.

On the jdm motors look right about the exhaust manifold on the left front side of the motor. The year of the head was produced is there.
