how can i tell what year my b16 is
is ther any way to tell exactly what year my motor is. i know zc's have the actual year stamped on the block above the exhaust manifold is there any stamp like this on the b16's

the head will have a stamp on it, it wil say 9/3 for 1993 or 9/4 for 1994 and so on, you get the idea.

There is a stamp on the head I believe either between 4 & 3 exhaust ports, or the 2 & 3 exhaust ports.
It has a circle stamp on it saying "9 2" or "9 3". Honda has stamped their motors 1 year previous to marketing the car. So if you have a "9 3" on the motor, it came in a 94 car. HTH.
