I was wondering if you could put a d16z6 intake manifold on a d15b8 engine since the d15b8 manifold and throttle body are really small and the d16z6 are a little bigger. Has anybody done this or tried this??Is it possible??

 

yes it will bolt up, but the motor it's self is so i'm not sure your'e going to get much of a gain if any at all.

its possible......i threw a z6 IM on my old d16y7 motor....works fine...all you need is a d15b8 intank manifold gasket....

 

hey also is it possible to install a dohc throttle body on the d16z6 intake manifold if so what mods do you have to do or is it a straight bolt on? also which dohc throttle body is the biggest (b18c,b18a,b18b,b16,etc..)

 

yeah throttle body swap is a good idea.

so the best throttle body to get is the b18c5-62mm Throttle body. I'll take that in mind. I'll just port the intake manifold to be the same as the throttle body. Thanks
