Ok here is the deal...i've read all the posts on here about the swaps into EKs. I'm doing mine next weekend when i'm off from work. I've put posts on here and my questions sorta got answered. I'm still confused...sorry for the ignorance about motor swaps. Do I need the mount brackets or the actual motor mounts from 99-00 Civic Si?? I've found out that i will need the A/C bracket from a Del Sol or CRV. Someone on here also said that the 99-00 Civic Si A/C bracket could be used...is this accurate?? Would these parts be found in junkyards or would I have a better chance going to my local Honda dealer? Another thing that is confusing me is the description of the location of the motor mounts that i need? Please someone help me...i'm confused. Again sorry for the ignorance....I just wanna buy the right parts to make it a smooth install.

 

I just finished my swap with no trouble so I need to know what motor and if it manual or automatic I will assume that you are putting a b18c in your car and will tell what you need.

ac bracket/mount = crv or delsol (crv is cheeper) but use the stock civic rubber part thats on the car.

driver side block mount = use 99-00 civic si block mount, reuse bracket and hydro mount from your car.

rear mount = use 99-00 civic si mount and reuse the rubber mount thats mounted on the crossmember.

pax side front = use the integra mount but reuse the rubber mount thats on your car.

pax side top transmission mount = reuse your manual civic mount.

Is it possible to install the AC from the GSR into an EK using the delsol mounts? or does this refer to installing AC from the EK onto the GSR engine? Reason I ask is that I have a complete B18C1 swap with AC but don't have AC in my hatch right now.
