complete greddy turbo kit for my b16a crx...anyone have
i recently swapped my crx si motor for the b16a and i want to turbo it. I just love the sound and i would like to see what the b16 would run like with one. Also do i need to do any motor work internally, if so what price range would i be looking at and where should i shop for the parts.
Read more before jumping into this. You can turbo a stock block so long as it's fairly healthy to begin with and you don't run more than 6-8lbs of boost.
I rather build up the motor internally, but i just don't have the money for that now. I was just looking to turbo the motor with low lbs. ......you just can't beat that blow off valv pppssssshit
http://www.homemadeturbo.com has more info than you can shake a stick at. Check there for all your honda turboing needs.
Stock internals have been proven to produce good power over and over, and a Greddy kit at 6-8 lbs should be more than fine. The biggest thing that you need to be concerned about is TUNING. Like said I have seen b16's post awsome numbers and I am sure that there are people floating around on the board that don't mind showing them off, but i have seen them blow up from not getting it tuned.
It seems as if you may not know to much about FI hondas so you should head on over to the FI forum and read read read.
