you'll need to get a wastegate elbow

I put some shims under the hood latch (hood side). I just used a couple washers and it worked fine. If you shim too much your hood will be too high for your quarter panels. Good luck.

if you don't want to cut anything, get an elbow

I had the same problem with my Tial 38mm, and we just used a shorter nipple on the top of it...fixed

I also have the same gate, and had to cut off the hood reinforcement above the gate, I have a stock hood though.

yep the Turbosmart Ultragate is smaller in height then the Tials. Plus it is a better wastegate anyway.

I have the same set up except w/ an inlinepro mani. I also have the VIS hood. The cheapest thing to do is get a brass 90 degree nipple to put on top. It sits lower than the bulky banjo one that comes w/ the tial. Then you take a dremel and just take a small notch out of the hood under skeleton/reinforcement. It doesn't take much trimming and it's easier than getting a new elbow/dump tube.
