ok, I know this section is not for typeR's but I have a 99 LS and i just put in a 00 typeR engine. I have a few problems ... and any help is appreciated ... First ... i'm using the stock LS engine harness and the vtec is not working ... yes .. there is a clip that hooks up to the vtec from the stock ls harness but no go ... second i am running a p28 chipped with a skunk2 program but i'm getting a check engine light ... checked the code and it's a 21 "VTEC spool solenoid valve" so i'm guessing that once i take care of my vtec problem ... i won't have a check engine light anymore ... any suggestions on what to do to hook up my vtec to the LS engine harness ???? Once again ... any help is appreciated !!!

 

Hardwire the solenoid to pin A4 on the ECU, end of story.

 

would that be the green and yellow wire ???
