ok so here is my problem
i have a 92 eg cx model that had vtec with the ecu harness
and the engine harness has no vtec
the previous owners did this kind of harness because they had a b20 turbo and did not need the vtec.

ok so as a result i have a chipped p06 ecu chipped to a stock p28
and the 2 harnesses vtec and non vtec
and i get the engine codes 21 which means that the vtec is not connected
so when connecting the vtec i get code 22 which is the vtec oil pressure switch

but i know that i have to connect that and vtec will pop
but by any chance would that cause the car not to rev over 3500 rpm ????

 

does anyone know anything here mang someone help

 

you should be able to go past 3500rpms, unless your runing in limp mode
