Confused.. Concerning HID's. Help Please!
I have 97 TL hid's. I've had them in my EK hatch before, But now that i took them out once, i can't put them back in without blowing the fuse. I tried upgrading the fuse all the way to a 30 amp fuse, and right when i turn the lights on it automatically blows it, and the HID's turn on. I have no idea what's going on, can someone please help. TIA

First off are you using an upgraded harness? Did you double check your grounds?

No upgraded harness, just ghetto way. But it worked last time, and now i don't know why it just keeps blowing fuses.

its most likely your harness hids draw more amps booting up than your stock harness can handle so if you didnt fry it yet your probably will soon

your blowing a fuse because you have the positive and the negative switched up, switch them up how you are connecting to your existing harness or to your relay
I win hehe been through it

That's a huge possibilty but I would still upgrade the harness. It's inexpensive and can be made by yourself with just some good wires, relays and fuses.

doesnt matter which way you hook the ballast up they will light up. But it needs to hooked up right. You need a harness, it is drawing too much at start up or you have a short somewhere.
