turboed b20b long block
anybody here seen or read of a boosted b20b (going in a del solby the way)? how's it compared to the b18b? i plan to sleeve it. rods | pistions... thank you. appreciate it.
If you're gonna sleeve it, hell yeah. If not, keep the boost down. view my sig.
I went from a B16A (10psi, .48/.63 T3/T04E) w/ 9.5 CR to the B20 block w/ same set up.....OMG....The torque and instant spool was amazing. I expected power to drop top end w/ my smaller exhaust housing, but it didn't feel like it. sadly, it didn't see the dyno so I'm not sure. I miss that monster.

I have a B18B changed to a B20 GE sleeved in my civic with a GSR P/P head and all the works.. If your going with a B18B/B20B bottom end you could go with either block and just sleeve it as your saying. Keep in mind there are things you will want to upgrade like oil pump, get your head milled to match the block or get dowells which is much easier. If you can get a GSR block<it can have stock sleeve damage ie cracked sleeve, which will be cheaper to buy> slap a B20B/B18B crank with little machining and then you have a better set-up.
