Default white smoke out exhaust...

ok, we got my car towed back to my house from drags last night... on the last run... first, second, third, gear was fine... end of fourth my car starts to bog down and white smoke is coming out the backside... i checked the engine bay... no leaks no smoke, nothing... underneath the car there was no leaks no nothing... i checked my boost gauge, and the vaccum pressure is bouncing around 10, and my idle is bouncing around 1000rpm... i'm hoping that it isn't the rings... some people say that it may be the head gasket... i just want to know what other problems it could be... and are there ways i can test for whatever problems it may be... i know about the compression test, and i hope to get that done soon... but the leakdown test i don't know... also please let me know if you guys know any "handy" ways of checking for problems... (like checking for white smoke out of the breather) thanks for all of your help!

white smoke = coolant burning
blue smoke = oil burning

you have white smoke. Everyone here is going to tell you it's your head lifting and/or headgasket is ripped. Is your coolant overflowing in to the overflow tank? If so it's your headgasket. Check under your oil cap..is it a milky substance and not regualr oil...if so it's your headgasket.

Ringlands are the weakest part on the honda engine IMO and if you blew those do a compression check and look for oil coming out of your breather.

Go do these things then report back with what you broke

no signs of any leaking anywhere in the engine bay or underneath the car could also mean that you cracked a sleeve. I did this to my engine. I had the same scenario as yours. Clean engine bay, no oil/coolant leaking anywhere.

*edit: Pull the oil drain plug. If you get oil, then your sleeves are good. If you get anything but oil, your bottom end is toast.
