Default CTR pistons w/ Type R rods?

I've got a Type R with Skunk 2 Stage 2 cams, plus all the other natural upgrades that come with these, as well as hondata. I'm looking to up the compression on it a bit by putting ctr pistons. I know that they wont fit other rods, but I'm not sure if civic r pistons will fit integra r rods. If they do, then i'm assuming the bore will be right as well? Thanks for your help.

They fit ITR rods fine. You would probably be better off getting the oversized CTR pistons and boring the cylinders so there arent any ring sealing issues, plus a bit more displacement.

Just also be aware that CTR pistons in an otherwise "stock" (meaning no modifications that would affect compression) ITR motor will raise the compression ratio more than "a bit".

lol yea i'm looking to manage about 12.3:1 with those and a 2 layer headgasket, so it is probably a little more than a bit, but thanks for looking out

a setup like that would put you in the 13:1 range
