Default 3rd gear grind. AGAIN

so i get a used tranny, from someone off of honda-tech. and it's been awhile since i've had it, maybe about 6 weeks since i've had it installed. and now when i'm in really high rpms and go to shift, SOMETIMES it grinds.. any ideas?

Just shift a tad bit slower and you should be fine. That's why short shifters are a bad idea. That make you shift to fast for the syncros. You can still shift to fast for the syncros with the stock shifter, but it's harder.

gm synchro mesh is a cheap generic band aid. If you want a real band aid buy the BG trans fluid. Its expensive, but it is better than the gm junk
