drivers side CV axle

drivers side CV axle

is there a clip in the transmission case or something?? i pulled the axle out and the housing around the bearings is stuck in my transmission case...

any help would be GREATLY appreciated

yes theres a clip just stick a long screw driver or pry bar inbetween the tranny and the axle and it will pop out.

but whateve ru dont .. dont force it out. u'll have to get a new axle.

i got a new axle, thats the problem, i tore the whole ****** down, to the very end, and that housing was stuck, so i had to put everything back together to drive my car home....

i was thinking that, but its in my transmission case, so i wasnt sure and didnt wanna take the chance to further damage anything else...

will it do anything to the transmission if i pry the ****** out?
