for those running zex stage 2 cams on the d series
was a cam gear needed?? a few guys were saying how with cam gears the cam made the most power on the 0 setting. so i was wondering if the cam gear would be a waste of money.

I emailed rocket about d series valve springs (d16y8's) and he said that they were good up to 9200 rpms. The only thing u want to change is the retainers.
but i am not sure if i asked him about after market cams or stock cams

Just would like some more info, before I buy my cam, probably with in the week. Just want to know if I can atleast rev this thing out to around 7500 on the zex stage 2 and stock springs.
