i have a 96 si swapped to a 23vtec, i had a obd1 p13 with a skunk converson harness and the vafc. i swapped to a obd2 p13 and reinstalled the vafc and know i have a code 22 vtec problem. i have checked everything and im not sure what it might be. and yes i hooked up the vtm wire. so does any one have any thing else i can check or try?

the two wires concerned : yellow and WHITE, BLUE

What u should do is this... REWIRE

if needed (reccomend) using a thicker wire to make an extention to ensure a proper connection

thats what i did and it works

 

got it fixed, apex has the ecu pin out drawing wrong, thay show the vtm wire hook up in the wrong place for a 96 obd2 lude. looked at my service manual pin out and called them to make sure it might be wrong. thay said it was. so look at it close if you are doing this on a 96 lude. later
