first of all, i have a bseries motor w/ a top mount turbo that sits about 1.5" from the body. i have the hasport motor mounts (i believe the racing ones) but only the three motor mounts. i did not attach the lower mounts from the trann to frame or the other mount where the a/c compressor is. does anyone know how much an engine torques especially in high boost ie-25 psi???

anybody have any info on the j's racing engine dampener? tia. garry.

 

You'll be fine, don't worry about the lower vibration mounts. They wouldn't do much anyways. We run Hasports on most all of our SFWD/T4 cars (~700whp+) and haven't had any problems thus far. Now if you had some aftermarket, cheap, imitation brand mounts, then I may be worried with your 1.5 inches of clearance. Just my $0.02 though.
