you cant use ctr pistons, ls rods and an ls crank in a b16 block. they will stick out of the block to far and hit the head. you will need a custom rod length or custom piston such as the ones tech43 is selling or you could get a deck plate. the b18 block is taller then the b16.

I agree. It is going to cost more for custom rods than the Tech 43 pistons. I just sold a set of rods and pistons made by crower from one of their stroker kits. Just use a Stock Ls crank, Ls Rods and the Tech 43 pistons and you will be good to go.

How much are the tech43 pistons? I'm wondering why more people aren't doing this if all it takes are an LS crank and rods...

i think the stroker piston kit is like $585... somthing like that.

you use stock length LS rods, and crank.

you still need a custom rod with those. not length wise, but it uses a smaller wrist pin. so you can either buy the rods from them or get yours rebushed

What d'you mean though? You can use stock B16 rods with the Arias kit, then? But then the guy below your post says the rods need to be modified...which rods? I'm confused...sorry, I just woke up.
