Default ARP HEADSTUDS TORQUE QUESTION

Does anyone have any experience with using arp headbolts. I have to replace my headgasket, and just purchased arp headbolts. The only thing i am concerned with is that as i am searching i see differnt answers as to how much to torque them. I have read to over torque the bolts from 5-20 ft. lbs. more. Does anyone have any experience with the arp headbolts? please post how much u torqued them to and how well it worked. thank you guys.. btw..im replacing it with a stock headgasket
sorry for long post. just concerned

Your best bet would be to call ARP directly and ask them for the spec. You dont want to **** that up. But the key thing is to do the 3 step torque.

20lbs
45lbs
final tq.

Also in this order:

1 7 9 5 3
4 6 10 8 2

you hvae it in the wrong order....the order you stated is to take the head off....when you put the head back on you start from the middle
and then out then middle then out again..or soemthing but what you stated is wrong...

with the arp stud it will say when you get them..i got arps for d16z6 and the sheet for me says 60lbs torque...factory is 49.
