B16A2 ARP Torque Specs - Please bear with me..
Hello all, long time member here based in the UK.
Firstly, I have scoured this place to the best of my ability for the answer to my question so please bear with me, don't want you to think I'm being lazy
I'm kicking off a full rebuild of my boosted B16A2, I won't bore you with all the details.
I have ARP main studs, ARP conrod bolts and ARP head studs and I am really struggling to find a consistent answer to torque settings.
I will use ARP supplied moly-lube for the assembly, so please take that into consideration.
If you could help me confirm the following I would be very grateful:
- Head stud torque
So far I have been told that 65 ft lbs (torqued in the following increments: 22 ft lbs, 44 ft lbs then 65 ft lbs in the Honda pattern) I am comfortable that this is correct, but please jump in if you know any better
- Main stud torque
This is where I am struggling, so please help. I plan on sending the block for machining before the build and wanted to torque the caps up to the correct torque (hoping you can help here) and get the caps align honed to the correct specs
- Conrod bolts
I think this is a pretty much straight answer here
Thank you all very much for your time.
Sam.

Re: B16A2 ARP Torque Specs - Please bear with me..
Thanks for the reply, as mentioned this is my plan. I will do this with the conrods too. Torque them to spec and get them honed to ensure they are round and to spec.
The question remains, what is the recommended torque specs for mains and conrods with moly lube if anyone can help, please?
Thanks again.
